Tie this scarlet cord in the window...
Joshua 2:18
J2:18 takes its name from Joshua 2:18, where Rahab was instructed to place a scarlet cord in her window as a sign of protection and rescue. Rahab risked everything to step toward a different future, and the scarlet cord became a symbol of hope, courage, and redemption. Today, it serves as a reminder of our commitment to meet women where they are, honor their courage, and walk alongside them toward a new beginning.
Our
Mission
Through the love of Christ, J2:18 exists to reach women in exploitation and walk with them into safety, stability, and a new beginning.
We meet them in the gap—honoring their courage, helping remove barriers, and remaining present throughout their journey.
J2:18 serves women in Middle Georgia affected by sexual exploitation through outreach, case management, practical support, and community collaboration.
Going Beyond Outreach
Outreach is where trust and relationships begin.
Going beyond outreach is where we make the difference.
As trust develops, we walk alongside women affected by sexual exploitation, helping them remove barriers as they pursue safety, stability, and a new beginning.
Through practical support, relationship-based case management, and community collaboration, we work to remove obstacles that stand between women and the resources, opportunities, and support they need to move forward.
Because lasting change rarely happens through a single encounter. It happens through trust built over time, consistent support, and a commitment to remain present throughout her journey.
